The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The GSD this morning announced a set of new policies which aim to establish new levels of transparency and accountability in Government tender and recruitment processes. The GSD says that, if elected, these measures will ensure that taxpayers’ money is spent “with full reasoning and justification.”
Following accusations made by the Chief Minister that the Leader of the Opposition is lying, the GSD has hit back at the administration by claiming once again that Net debt is at its highest, reaching £354 million.
During his time in Berlin this week, at the OECD Global Forum the Chief Minister signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (MCAA), which is generally known as Global FATCA.
