The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Unite the union’s Young Members Committee says that for too long in Gibraltar, governments have believed there is only one way to success which is to follow the academic route through GCSEs, to A-levels, and the subsequent study of a traditional academic subject at university. The Committee believes that although this route has worked for many, it doesn’t suit those who decide not to undertake further studies many of whom, it says, are being let down.

The Gibraltar FA is delighted to announce the appointment of Ivan Robba as its new Head of Legal Services, Licensing and Football Governance. Ivan is a Law Graduate from the University of Leeds and was called to the Gibraltar Bar in 2007.
The Chamber and its members say that they are relieved that the Government is keeping to its manifesto commitment of not increasing the costs of water or electricity. The Chamber also welcomes the fact that there has been no increase in social insurance costs for employers.
