The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The Gibraltar Bus Company has embarked on a project to improve user friendliness for wheelchair users boarding its vehicles. The Government plans to construct ramps at those bus stops throughout the Rock, which currently pose difficulties for persons with a physical disability.
Following the Chief Minister’s speech to the US Council on Foreign Relations this week, the Opposition has welcomed his statement that the ‘2006 Constitution has given Gibraltar so much autonomy that we believe that this could be the maximum level of self-government short of independence and there is no political move to seek independence in Gibraltar" and that the Cordoba Agreement was "very positive’.
The party claims that Mr. Picardo’s position, is now ‘indistinguishable from the long held position of the GSD, on these two important issues.’

Re – Internal Rotation.
Over the last few days much has been said in relation to the issue of rotation in the Customs Department. The issue is not one of Unite vs. GGCA but rather one of Natural Justice. Unite is of the opinion that it is important for Unionised and non Unionised labour to be clear as to the facts surrounding this issue, in order to avoid misleading statements.
