The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
According to Spain’s National Statistics Institute, unemployment figures have dropped from a record high of 27.2% to 26.3%. This drop suggests the first sign of growth within the economy, for two years. The newest figure follows statistics recorded in the second quarter of the year, this signifies that the number of unemployed individuals in Spain has dropped to just below six million.
This morning saw another standoff between the RGP and the Guardia Civil as the force attempted to block a spanish fishing vessel from any intervention with the RGP in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.
