The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”

The Government is pleased to note that in a recent poll undertaken by Skandia International, registered in the Isle of Man, Gibraltar has been placed second with 26% of the vote as the preferred QROPS jurisdiction in a survey of 141 international advisers who use QROPS.
Returning to Gibraltar today is the Royal Navy’s Trafalgar class nuclear submarine HMS Tireless. The Tireless will visit as part of her scheduled operational tasking.
Local viewers of last night’s BBC 2 Top Gear episode were disappointed to find that, although part of the programme was filmed in Gibraltar, the presenters made no mention of where they were. The episode opened with various shots of the Rock with Rule Britannia playing in the background.
