The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
The GSD will show that the Government’s fanfare in relation to the latest employment statistics is misplaced and unjustified. The reality is much different to the pretty picture which is in the Government’s electoral interests to paint days before a by-election.

Four Spanish nationals have today been sentenced to five and six years imprisonment in the Supreme Court.
Their arrest took place in the afternoon of the 2nd of June 2013 following the interception of the vessel they were in by officers of the Royal Gibraltar Police’s Marine Unit assisted by the Gibraltar Defence Police. The vessel was found to be carrying 500kg of Cannabis Resin (see left).
Acting on a European Arrest Warrant the Portuguese Authorities removed British national Gary Reginald FRENCH, aged 51 of Manilva, Spain from Gibraltar shortly after 3pm yesterday afternoon.
