The PDP deeply regrets the latest escalation in the dispute over our territorial waters which occurred yesterday and was marked by the entry and presence of the Spanish warship P 64 Tarifa into our waters off the Eastern side of the Rock which continued for over 45 minutes. Although the complex operation was due to start at 6:30am, the weather conditions were judged to be less than ideal and the scheduled lowering into the sea from its transportation vessel was postponed until 9:30am.
