The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
A local 38 year old woman, Sonia Bossino of 61/15 Prince Edwards Road was today sentenced to sixteen months imprisonment by Mr Justice Black. The sentence followed a guilty plea in the Supreme Court to a charge of Forgery.

The GSD welcomes the Government’s announcement that it will ban the sale of tobacco in certain Government estates. In fact, it is clear for everyone to see that this activity has been on the increase in Gibraltar over the last year, unfortunately worsened by the economic recession in Spain. At no point have we suggested that this is down to the Government of Gibraltar.
