The Government says that recent scientific evidence confirms that face coverings can help us protect each other and reduce the spread of the COVID-19, especially for those infected with coronavirus but not showing symptoms. This is “of prime concern” as lockdown measures are lifted.
The Government says the water systems at St Bernard’s Lower Primary, St Bernard’s Upper Primary, St Joseph’s Lower Primary and St Joseph’s Upper Primary will now be subjected to a hypochlorination treatment.

The GSD have said the closure of the four schools could've been "prevented if proper checks had been carried out in the run-up to schools fully reopening".
