The GSD says it continues to hold the Government to account and explain the structure and reasoning behind the £300 million borrowing announced in the budget which it says is secured by way of mortgage over the six Government housing estates namely Moorish Castle Estate, Glacis Estate, Laguna Estate, Alameda Estate, Mid Harbours and Varyl Begg Estate.

His Excellency the Governor, Lt Gen Edward Davis, hosted an Investiture Ceremony at The Convent yesterday; when he will be awarded members of the community different Medals and Awards according to their achievements.
The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares, invited Miss Gibraltar 2016 and her two Princesses to the City Hall this afternoon to wish them the best of luck on their journey to their respective pageants abroad and to present them each with a gift and bouquet of flowers.
