Below follows a joint statement on the progress of the EU-UK Agreement in respect of Gibraltar:
European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo met in Brussels on Friday 12 April.
Westside School held an assembly to celebrate the work done by pupils throughout the year. They also bid farewell to retiring teachers Monique Williamson, Guy Noguera, Peter Vila, Douglas Morello and Headteacher, George Garcia.
The Government says it is delighted to make available the exhibition about the Evacuation of the people of Gibraltar during the Second World War available online. The exhibition ran very successfully at the John Mackintosh Hall throughout May.
The Chief Minister yesterday visited Glacis Estate to inspect the ongoing refurbishments. In order to better understand tenants’ concerns about the works the Chief Minister met with representatives of the Tenants’ Association, as well as with individual tenants. The Chief Minister was accompanied by representatives of GJBS (the main contractor), the Ministry for Housing and the Housing Works Agency.
