Below follows a joint statement on the progress of the EU-UK Agreement in respect of Gibraltar:
European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo met in Brussels on Friday 12 April.
Minister Bossano is today travelling to Managua, Nicaragua, to attend the 2015 Caribbean Regional Seminar of the United Nations Special Committee on decolonisation, also known as the Special Committee of 24 (C-24). The Seminar will run from 19 to 21 May and aims to accelerate action in the implementation of the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism (2011-2020).

The GSD says it notes the “careful use of language” in the latest Government press release claiming credit for the St Bernard's school idea. According to the GSD, such careful use of language, which it argues is “calculated to mislead the public, while at the same time leaving the door open for some highly technical excuse for not being straight with the public” has become a trademark of the GSLP/Liberal administration.
