Officers from the RGP Operations Division currently investigating recent instances of Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour in the area of Glacis Estate have carried out several arrests. These follow an incident of Violent Disorder at Glacis Estate last Friday, where seven individuals were arrested by RGP Response Team officers and where bladed weapons were seized.
In the Magistrates’ Court today, a local man was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined a total of £2000 after he pleaded guilty to Possession of a Class A Drug and to Possession of a Class B Drug. Last month he had been found guilty of Failing to Provide a Specimen of Blood.
Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), working alongside teacher and playwright Julian Felice, will be holding the eighth edition of GibTalks on Saturday 3rd February 2024 at the John Mackintosh Hall. Based on the successful TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) series of talks (www.ted.com), GibTalks will see a range of local speakers representing a cross-section of the community delivering short talks on a broad spectrum of subjects.
