Figures released by the Gibraltar Health Authority show “very significant improvements” in operating theatre performance at the GHA, according to a statement from the Government.
Linda Castro, the Gibraltar Health Authority’s very own Dermatology Specialist Nurse, has been awarded second place in the British Journal of Nursing’s 2014 Awards in the Dermatology Nurse of the Year category. Linda received this prestigious award in the BJN Awards Ceremony in London last month.
Gibraltar is set to welcome UK Reggae giant Steel Pulse this July, courtesy of Big Man Entertainment. The band is famed with being influential in promoting multi-culturalism in British society in the 1970’s. The duo’s early success caught the attention of legendary reggae label Island Records, who were responsible for giving them their first break supporting Bob Marley on his European Tour.
A part of the Upper Rock which has been closed to the public for many years will be re-opened in time for the Easter weekend.
