Southampton footballer William Britt has pulled out of the GFA’s National Squad line up for the up coming friendly against Estonia. The player recently picked up an injury and following the advice of the two Medical Teams it has been agreed that William will be remaining at Southampton to ensure his rehabilitation continues.
Three Royal Navy ships will this weekend sail into the Naval Base on scheduled visits. The HMS Westminster arrived this morning following a six-month operational deployment in the Indian Ocean and Gulf R HMS Westminster is heading home after handing over her duties to sister ship HMS Somerset. She will be in Gibraltar for a couple of days to top up on supplies and give the crew some well-deserved rest and recuperation.
A series of RGP Officers received a gamut of promotions from Commissioner Yome yesterday. Chief Inspector for Crime and Protective Services, Richard Ullger was promoted to Superintendent. Superintendent Ullger joined the force in 1988 and has served in various departments.
