European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
On Saturday 24th March, Gibraltar will host a solidarity bike rally led by sports personality Alejandro Navarro with participation from members of the RGP, CNP (La Linea and Estepona) and local Cycling Clubs, to help raise funds and awareness for Cancer Relief Gibraltar and Asociación Alejandro Navarro. The event will not only promote the charities but will promote ‘Unity without Barriers’ #UnitedWithoutBarriers #UnidosSinBarreras.
Christian Duo, Gibraltar’s newly elected observer to Unite the union’s executive council, has secured the support of the union’s governing body for the Rock to be included in transitional Brexit arrangements and the future agreement between the UK and European Union.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, will hold the Spring Visual Arts Competition in May as part of this year’s Gibraltar Spring Festival.
