European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
According to the Gibraltar Government, the six-month deadline set by the European Commission for the improvement of traffic flow at the border between Gibraltar and Spain has expired today. However, the delays at the border continue in both directions with no improvement.

Dylan Otton of Anderson House was arrested on the 2nd April 2014 by RGP officers at Corral Road when the officers, who were attending a traffic accident Otton had been involved in, observed a number of boxes of tobacco in his motor car.
