Sep 29 – Hassan Nahon “Shocked” By Lack Of Fire Safety Measures At Moorish Castle Estate
Following the fire at Keightley House in Moorish Castle Estate yesterday, Independent MP Marlene Hassan Nahon says she was “shocked” to learn from residents that there are no fire alarms installed in any of the blocks. Ms Hassan Nahon says that, in addition, there are no fire extinguishers or sprinkler systems present or even any evidence like wall pegs showing that these fire warning and extinguisher aides have ever been installed or in action.
The Gibraltar-Berlin Artist Exchange Residency Exhibition, organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, will be held at the John Mackintosh Hall Galleries from Wednesday 4th to Friday 20th October.
