Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Government has announced the introduction of a new coach shuttle service for the users of Sandy Bay beach. Throughout the bathing season, the shuttle service will operate between Europa Point and Sandy Bay thus allowing the public to use the Europa Point Car Park when planning to spend the day at Sandy Bay. The service will operate daily from 1100hrs to 1900hrs and will depart every 15mins.

During a recent visit to Gibraltar’s Army Cadet Unit at Buffadero Training Centre, His Excellency the Governor announced that Cadet Corporal James Cpl James Aguilera would be the first ‘Governor’s Cadet.’ As the first cadet to hold this new title, James will take part in both the Queen’s Birthday parade and the Governor’s Garden Party in his new role and wearing his new badge of office.
