Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
Organisers of this year’s Clean up the World are pleased to confirm widespread support from the community for this Saturday’s awareness raising action. Schools, Clubs, Agencies, NGOs, businesses, families and the Gibraltar Regiment will make up the over 500 volunteers registered.
The Government says that it considers that the Opposition’s “irresponsible reaction” to the vaccination against COVID-19 of 12-15 year olds in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar “is in the stone age.”
The Chief Minister has today written to outgoing Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, to thank him for his support in his time in office, in particular given his support for Gibraltar during the negotiations of the New Year’s Eve Agreement and the Covid pandemic.
