Calling all lovers of pancakes and supporters of Cancer Relief! This year we are holding our 5th Pancake Day fund-raising event on Shrove Tuesday 13th February. Once again this year, thanks to the generosity of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment the event will be held at Grand Battery House (the old Parcel Post Office by the iron bridge above Casemates). Pancakes will be made by the Regiment catering staff and our hard-working volunteers will be ready to serve you delicious pancakes between 10am and 2pm. Please do come along and support us. Entrance is £5 for a pancake and a cuppa, £2.50 for children under 12.
An additional floor at the John Mackintosh Home was officially opened this morning. This new area follows conversion works to the ground floor of the Home, which formerly contained flats.
