A 34 year old local man has been sentenced to four weeks imprisonment and disqualified from driving for eighteen months following his conviction for driving whilst over the prescribed limit.

Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today addressed influential US Conservative think-tank, the Heritage Foundation in Washington DC. The event was attended by around 30 delegates at the venue and online by viewers around the globe. Mr Picardo’s speech concentrated on re-enforcing the historic relationship that Gibraltar has always had with the UK and it’s allies, the USA.

A 39 year old local man and a 35 year old local woman have today been sentenced in the Magistrates Court following respective convictions for Burglary and Handling Stolen Goods.
