Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
In a press release published on Julie Girling’s blog, Conservative MEPs have said that if Spain does not desist its “efforts to intimidate and impede the movement of EU workers” they would write to the European Commission to threaten legal action.

The PDP have never sought to be a pressure group and in the circumstances, the executive have by overwhelming majority recommended to its membership that the party be wound up with effect from the 31st August 2013."
