Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
Unite the Union senior members last week met with Interserve Defence Ltd in order to review a number of issues that had surfaced following the pay harmonisation agreed earlier this year. The group, including Unite representatives Christian Duo and Sandra Revagliatte, also discussed issues that have arisen during the current review of operations.

As from Monday 3rd November, the seasonal flu vaccine will be available from the Primary Care Centre. The flu vaccine is recommended for all persons aged 65 years or over and all persons aged between 6 months and 65 years, who suffer from diseases that put them at High Risk, including those that cause breathing difficulties, heart, kidney or liver diseases, neurological conditions, stroke or a transient ischaemic attack or diabetes.
