The GFY has also highlighted that this data should be "collated and available for confidential audit purposes" but does not "believe that the press reporting on them at intervals is in the public interest".
The Government of Gibraltar has noted the statement by the Opposition parties on the decision taken by the Attorney General to enter a Nolle Prosequi in respect of “various defendants in a case of conspiracy to defraud”. The Government says this is a matter “purely” for the Attorney General.
Together Gibraltar says it is "deeply concerned" by the Attorney General's decision to enter a “Nolle Prosequi”.
The GSD says the Attorney General's decision to stop a prosecution, in respect of the 36 North-Bland case, "raises serious questions".
