Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.

Type 23 Frigate HMS Montrose arrives in Gibraltar tomorrow following a seven-month operational deployment within the Mediterranean and Gulf regions.
In one of her most recent operational tasks HMS Montrose has been working alongside warships from Denmark and Norway to carry out escort and protection duties of two merchant vessels who are transporting chemicals from Syria for onward destruction, as part of Operation RECSYR.
