36-year-old female, Verena Boege, yesterday arrived in Gibraltar via private plane, under a European Arrest Warrant. Officers of the RGP’s Safeguarding Unit transported Ms Boege to New Mole House, where she was placed in cells pending her appearance at the Magistrates’ Court this morning. Ms Boege was arrested by German authorities following a warrant that was issued by the Gibraltar Courts, for the offence of child abduction, contrary to Section 184(1) of the Crimes Act 2011.
