Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
As both the public and the international press wait with baited breath for baby Prince or Princess of Cambridge to be born into the world, it has been noted that the child’s name is un-likely to be released for at least a week following its birth.
Regardless of the child’s gender, it is set to be the third in line for the thrown following their father Prince William and Grandfather Prince Charles. Press reports claim that William and Kate do not want to know the sex of their baby before it is born.

The Gibraltar Amateur Drama Association will be staging a new play as part of the Autumn Festival, "Bang Bank Beirut", by Ray Cooney and Tony Hilton. Performance days will be Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st October and Saturday 1st November.
