Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
In conjunction with the Royal Gibraltar Police, young members of the Laguna Youth Club are raising money for GBC Open Day by organising an 84 kilometre BIKE-A-THON on Saturday 6th December from 10.30am – 2.30pm.
The event will be held at Laguna Youth Club with food and a bouncy castle on offer for all residents in the community.
This year's Convent Christmas Fair is set to take place between noon and 7pm on Thursday 27th November. The fete will display over 40 festive stalls adorned with traditionally handcrafted jewellery, elaborate Christmas decorations, culinary delights, fashion and beauty treats and brilliant gift ideas and stocking-fillers.
The Government has published new Regulations that will govern the registration of doctors practicing in Gibraltar. This fulfils a Government manifesto commitment to provide for all doctors to be registered by the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
