European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
A local man was sent to prison for 16 months this morning at the Supreme Court after he admitted entering a colonial property in the South District whilst its occupants, a family of four, were asleep upstairs. Gavin Key, aged 34, of Vineyard House, had previously pleaded guilty to the burglary which took place during the early hours of 20th January, 2014.
The Chief Minister left Gibraltar yesterday for a visit to Malta where he will pay a call on the British High Commissioner before holding meetings with Maltese national officials to discuss matters of bilateral commercial importance. He will return to the Rock on Wednesday.
