The Royal Gibraltar Police together with the Care Agency recently organised a Drug Awareness Poster competition with the aim to display these in the Victoria Stadium.
This followed as a result of a refurbishment of the stadium resulting in old posters having been disposed of.
The Royal Gibraltar Police Marine Section was yesterday caught up in a chase at sea, whilst assisting the Guardia Civil.
At approximately 7.20 pm in the evening a Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHIB), being chased by a Guardia Civil fast patrol vessel, was detected by the RGP travelling south along the Bay of Gibraltar.
The Environmental Agency together with the Department of the Environment has extended its recently developed environmental application (app) for smartphones to Android devices, so that it can now be run both on these and on iOS. The app was developed locally together with a team of Environmental Agency staff. The App is now free to download for both iOS and Android devices and is designed to provide the user with useful information about the Agency's services and about recycling.
