May 21 - Gibraltarian Wins Miss Great Britain Derby
Gibraltarian graduate, Natasha Pizzarello was this weekend crowned Miss Great Britain Derby in a pageant organised by Modelzed. Natasha had previously participated in the Miss England pageant and enjoyed the experience so much that she entered her local pageant.
Natasha explained that when she heard her name announced as one of the top five finalists she was in a complete state of shock. Responding to judges’ questions on what it would mean to win the pageant, Natasha exclaimed that it would mean the world to her to represent the city she has lived in for the past four years whilst completing her law degree and legal practice course, she also noted that if she were to win, she would use her title as a platform to carry out as much charity work as possible.

In an effort to raise funds for gynaecology cancer research fund, The Eve Appeal, a ‘Fab Quiz Night’ is being hosted at Sacarello’s in Irish Town, next Wednesday. The event will cost £15 per head and will include hot and cold tapas and a raffle. Those wishing to register must organise themselves into teams of 4 – 6 players. Individuals can email
