Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The New Movement group has started a campaign asking for Queen Elizabeth II come to Gibraltar on an official visit. The group says it is thrilled that the Chief Minister also made the same request on National Day in his speech at Casemates Square.
Minister for Financial Services, Albert Isola is this week travelling to Geneva, with a delegation of members of the Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association, amongst other financial services professionals.
