Members of The Royal Gibraltar Regiment’s recruitment team invited The Youth Service to Devil’s Tower Camp to participate in the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Youth Outreach Programme today, Tuesday 26 July.
The GSD has said that the confirmation by Sir Joe Bossano on GBC Viewpoint that people will suffer further increases in social insurance contributions this year and next year as part of “reforms” to the social security system will come as a “further blow” in a year of “rising costs, mounting inflation, eroding wages and higher taxes fees and charges.”
The GSD has said that the Government have not only “abandoned their pledge” to build rental housing but have “starkly pretended” they never had a promise to start off with.
The Gibraltar Honours Board (GHB), under the Chairmanship of the Governor, will meet in October to consider nominations for:
∙ The Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2023; and,
∙ The Gibraltar Award, which is awarded by the Governor on behalf of the GHB and announced coincident with the New Year Honours List 2023.
