European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Sunday Express yesterday reported that Spanish fighter jets entered Gibraltar airspace without permission, as a morning Monarch flight landed at the Gibraltar International Airport.
A Gibraltar Government spokesperson told the publication that it is intolerable that Spanish military aircraft are now infringing the Rock’s airspace, as well as behaving in a reckless and dangerous manner.
As from tomorrow, a new Gibraltarian recipes cookbook will be on sale both locally and online. Justin Bautista, creator of Gibraltar’s recipe website, mamalotties.com, has published a Gibraltarian-inspired cookbook with selected recipes. The book includes local dishes as well as some exclusive family recipes not found on the website. FCO Director-General, Economic and Consular Sir Julian King is currently visiting Gibraltar. He is set take part in a range of political meetings, as well as a trip on British Gibraltar Territorial Waters with the Royal Navy to learn about the valuable work that they continue to do to protect the UK’s sovereignty.
The RGP are this week launching their annual recruitment bid, urging interested members of the public aged 18 and over to consider a potential career in the Royal Gibraltar Police force.
