The Government says it is delighted to announce that the Global Forum of the OECD, on transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes, has today published the Phase 2 peer review report on Gibraltar; rating our jurisdiction as 'Largely Compliant' overall as regards the exchange of tax information in practice. This is the second highest rating possible.
Local doctor Karl Alvarez and his partner Sarah are undertaking a unique challenge for charity that will see them run several marathons across the Sahara next year – a gruelling event known as the Marathon des Sables. The couple are raising money for HOPE for Children, a registered charity that helps orphaned, poor and exploited children in some of the world’s poorest regions.
