Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Minister for Housing and the University of Gibraltar, Pat Orfila, hosted a successful constituency meeting at the Dolphins Youth Club for residents of the South District, including Harrington Building, Cumberland, Bayview and the Europa Point area. The meeting provided an open forum for members of the public to voice their concerns and suggestions directly to the Minister.

The GMWS welcomes the Mental Health Board report for 2023. Once again, the report provides an excellent overview of how things are working in the mental health services. We cannot cover all the many points addressed in the Report, which are all important, but would like to focus on what we consider some of the most salient matters.
The Ministry of Equality have announced the first of a number of initiatives to mark Pride month. June is an important time to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and to promote equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
