Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Government has today welcomed the arrival an inaugural project that will see closer commercial and cultural ties between the United States and Gibraltar develop. The US Trade Mission has come about mostly thanks to the establishment of a Gibraltar branch of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). This collaboration highlights the work being done in the US to promote stronger trade links with Gibraltar.
