European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
The Royal Gibraltar Police Marine Section was yesterday caught up in a chase at sea, whilst assisting the Guardia Civil.
At approximately 7.20 pm in the evening a Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHIB), being chased by a Guardia Civil fast patrol vessel, was detected by the RGP travelling south along the Bay of Gibraltar.
The Environmental Agency together with the Department of the Environment has extended its recently developed environmental application (app) for smartphones to Android devices, so that it can now be run both on these and on iOS. The app was developed locally together with a team of Environmental Agency staff. The App is now free to download for both iOS and Android devices and is designed to provide the user with useful information about the Agency's services and about recycling.
In order to accommodate the extensions to the Gastronomy Festival ‘Calentita’ into Market Place on Saturday 21st June 2014, the Ministry of Culture in conjunction with the Gibraltar Bus Company will be reallocating all bus routes from Market Place to Waterport Road.
