Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Gibraltar Tourist Board has announced the installation of the Rock’s first ever aqua-park at Western Beach. The inflatable facility is already in full swing and will enhance the safe enjoyment of the beach for both adults and children alike.
Yesterday afternoon the Rainbow Ward at St. Bernard’s Hospital unveiled two brand new breastfeeding chairs that were purchased by the GHA with funds donated by Babystepps, the newly formed charity that focuses on pregnancy and early parenthood.

The Guardia Civil vessel Rio Tormes patrolled the area next to the runway off Western Beach this morning. This comes following an incident yesterday in which a Government contracted tug boat was stopped by the Guardia Civil from dropping concrete blocks to form an artificial reef.
