The GSD says it would like to remind the public will about the concerns it raised over Mr Sardeña’s claim against the Gibraltar Bus Company Limited for unfair dismissal. As predicted, says the GSD, the “unexpected and sudden withdrawal” by the Government has resulted in a “significant award” of £51,238.40 being made to Mr Sardeña. Yesterday, officers of the Royal Gibraltar Police’s Drug Squad arrested a 37 year old local man on suspicion of possession and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug. A 22 year old local woman was also arrested for the same offences. The arrests came about following a search of a local residence. A total of approximately 400 grams of Cannabis Resin was seized.
