The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia has said that although Gibraltar prefers a treaty to govern our relationship with the European Union, there are fundamental red lines which the Government is not prepared to cross in order to achieve it. Dr Garcia was speaking in Brighton today at the annual party conference of the U.K. Liberal Democrats.
Gibtelecom will start conducting the first of their bi-annual customer satisfaction surveys for 2013 this week. Customers are invited to rate the Company’s fixed, mobile and internet services and customer service and make comments suggestions if they wish. All customers participating have the option to enter a prize draw to win an iPad.
The survey provides vital feedback and understanding of customers’ requirements and concerns, which is then used to continuously improve services and enhance the customer experience.
The winner of the 2013 Miss Gibraltar Pageant will make an appearance in the 2013 Starlight Festival fashion shows, which will be held in Marbella during the Summer.
This prize is in addition to the cash incentives being offered to Miss Gibraltar delegates and the opportunity for the overall winner to participate in Miss World Pageant to be held in Indonesia in September.
The Mayoress of La Linea, Gemma Araujo paid a visit to No 6 Convent Place this morning to continue her series of regular meetings with the Chief Minister, the Hon Fabian Picardo and Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia. Mrs Araujo was accompanied by Councillors Asuncion Barranco and Angel Villar.
Both sides reviewed the latest developments in cross-border relations and discussed ways of improving co-operation, including projects of mutual interest. A number of business initiatives were looked at, together with potential investment projects with a view to increasing job opportunities.
