The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
As previously announced, the New Year’s Classical Concert returns to the Government’s cultural calendar. The event will be organised for the Ministry of Culture by the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society in collaboration with the Gibraltar Cultural Services.
On the morning of Friday 19th December 2014, officers of the RGP’s Drugs Squad executed a search warrant at a local residence, which resulted in the seizure of 70 grams of Cocaine with a street value of approximately £4200. Also seized in the search were 20 grams of Cannabis resin and paraphernalia associated with the supply of controlled drugs.
Six soldiers from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment were recently presented with their Long Service and Good Conduct (LS & GC) Medals. The LS & GC Medal is awarded to personnel who have demonstrated 15 years of exemplary and irreproachable conduct.
