Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
In a statement ahead of Saturday’s Holocaust Memorial Day commemoration, the Equality Rights Group (ERG) has expressed concern about the way the Day appears to have “diminished in status” since its inception in Gibraltar.
The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo was received this morning by the President of the Junta de Andalucia Susana Diaz in the Palacio de San Telmo, which is the official seat of the regional government.
