The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) investigation into the allegation that ‘whistle-blowers’ were incentivised to provide evidence to the McGrail Inquiry “has not uncovered any evidence that meets the threshold for criminal prosecution for Misconduct in Public Office.”
Following a report of someone’s jacket containing two mobile phones and an amount of money having been stolen on the 31st January 2014 from a person at an establishment in Main Street, RGP officers have arrested Victoria Jane Hall born 29/01/1994 in Gibraltar and residing at Police Barracks.
Following a presentation by Unite official Christian Duo, the Executive Committee of Unite’s Gibraltar Branch has sanctioned and commissioned the International Centre for Trade Union Rights ('ICTUR') to carry out a project and make a comparison on UK, EU and Gibraltar Employment Legislation.
The project is being carried out by renowned Employment Lawyer, Professor Kieth Ewing and Daniel Blackburn of ICTUR. Both men have had previous involvement in Unite's Campaign on Moroccan Rights.
The GSD Opposition has today called upon the Government to commit to replacing the Gibibikes urban bike hire scheme, before the end of their first term. GSD transport spokesman Selwyn Figueras has claimed that the scheme proved extremely popular amongst cross-frontier workers and played a part in encouraging individuals to choose and alternative form of transport for getting around in Gibraltar.
