Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
In the Magistrates Court today, 26 year old Jose Manuel MENDEZ of 38/7 Flat Bastion Road was sentenced to fourteen and ten weeks imprisonment to be served consecutively following convictions for driving offences.
A local man was today sentenced to ten weeks imprisonment and disqualified from driving for two years following his conviction for two drink driving offences.
