European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.
During a routine visit to Gibraltar, Commander of Joint Forces Command for the UK, General Sir Richard Barrons met with the Commander of British Forces, the Governor and the Chief Minister to discuss routine matters regarding the Forces in Gibraltar. General Barons manages joint capabilities from the three armed services, including those at the UK’s Gibraltar and Cyprus bases.

A group of local cyclists who recently cycled a distance of over 1,100km from Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain to Gibraltar presented two cheques, each for the sum of £5,386.56 to two local charities, the Breast Cancer Support Group and the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society.
