European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, together with the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, met in Brussels earlier today.

The Opposition notes the Government's acknowledgement that it has been sitting on a bill for legal aid reform for the last two years and the Minister's acknowledgement in Parliament of the work of the GSD in preparing draft legislation and conducting consultation with the legal profession before December 2011.
