Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
The Government this afternoon compiled a response to the announcement of the OLAF report on tobacco smuggling, claiming that the issues identified by the EU’s Anti Fraud Office are welcomed.
Following claims by Spanish news outlet ‘El Pais’ that Spain’s High Court is to investigate tobacco smuggling and money due to the recommendation of European Anti-Fraud Office OLAF, the department has confirmed that they did in fact complete an investigation in the South of Spain covering the issues that surround tobacco smuggling in the area, including organized crime.
A Futsal coaching course for kids aged 6 to 12 was organised by the Futsal National team Head Coach Mario Prescott, assisted by Peter Moreno, Dylan Glynn and Jansen Prescott. The course was held as part of the Summer Sports Programme and was held from the 4th to the 8th August 2014.
