Gibraltar’s representation at the Labour Party Conference continued yesterday evening with the Gibraltar Reception hosted by the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and featuring a keynote speech by the UK Minister for Europe and the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty MP.
Childline Gibraltar is pleased to announce that positive parenting courses will recommence this month after the summer break. The new courses will focus upon the different stages of parenting so rather than attending a generic parenting course, parents now have the choice of attending a course specific to their current stage of parenting. These include early years (birth to 4), primary years (5 - 11) and teenagers (12 - 16).
A 39 year old local man has been charged with drugs offences following his arrest during Tuesday afternoon last week at Number 6 Convent Place where he was working as a security guard.
Looking ahead to this year’s Clean up the World campaign, the ESG yesterday announced that I-CARE will host an exhibition on renewable energy and sustainable living ‘bringing a fleet of electric cars for various displays’. The Clipperton Project will also sail into Gibraltar to aid with the clean up and collaborate with the Heritage Trust in a number of activities.
